Dr. Lidia Gasperoni studied Philosophy in Rome, Freiburg, Breisgau and Berlin and
obtained her doctorate from the TU Berlin in 2015. She teaches philosophy with a
focus on aesthetics and spatial theory and develops interdisciplinary seminars
between philosophy and architecture in cooperation with other researchers at the
Institute of Architecture, TU Berlin. She taught also at the UdK and the University of
Kassel.

 

 

Her research focuses on the philosophy of architecture, media philosophy,
and anthropocene theories. She is a member of Netzwerk Architekturwissenschaft.
Since 2020 she has been president of the non-profit association Fieldstations and
since 2011 codirector of the Freigeist Academy of Humanities. Information about
